After a very brief period of cooperation with Seago Line in the jointMorocco-Russia ‘AGAX’ service, OPDR (CMA CGM Group) is reorganizing its Morocco-Europe services. Four 860-1,030 teu ships are now being deployed in the revised stand alone ‘AGAX’ service which combines the former ‘AGAX’ and ‘DUNKRUS’ rotations with the exception of a Russian leg as St Petersburg is no longer served directly. The revised ‘AGAX’ turns in four weeks, calling at Rotterdam, Le Havre, Rouen, Algeciras, Casablanca, Agadir, Casablanca, Portsmouth, Dunkirk, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Casablanca, Algeciras, Rotterdam. St Petersburg will be served via transhipment, including with the relaunched 'St Petersburg Shuttle Service B' (aka French Baltic Loop B) between Rotterdam (RWG + ECT Euromax + Uniport + ECT Delta) and the St Petersburg area (FCT + Fish Port + Neva Metal + Bronka). This service jointly operated by CMA CGM with FESCO-ESF. It turns in two weeks with the 1,691 teu CMA CGM PLATON and the 1,436 teu AKERDIJK (FESCO-ESF contribution) soon to be replaced by the larger 1,924 teu newbuilding DELPHIS GDANSK.
The new 'Baltic Loop B' has replaced an agreement whereby CMA CGM was taking slots on a joint X-Press/FESCO-ESF service, which is now being continued as a joint X Press/Unifeeder link, branded as ‘BAX 2’ by X-Press and ‘Baltic Loop C’ by Unifeeder within the framework of their Vessel Sharing Agreement in the Baltic, concluded in January 2017.
